If you've been offered a job in the Czech Republic — but your employer is not part of the Qualified Employee Program — don't panic. You can still apply for an Employee Card. But you need to follow a different process.

The Czech Embassy in Manila has announced that registration for Q3 2025 (July–September) appointments will take place on:

🗓 Monday, June 2, 2025
📍 VFS Global Visa Center – 6th Floor, Circuit Corporate Center 2, Makati
🕗 Be there at 8:00 am at the latest

🎟️ How does the process work?

Since this is outside the fast-track program, applicants will be selected through a lottery system. Only 25 applicants per quarter will be drawn by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Here's what you need to do:

✅ Bring your passport or ID
✅ Bring a photocopy of your passport data page
✅ Bring proof of purpose – a signed work contract (a scanned copy is enough)
✅ Pay a registration fee of 1,000 CZK (in PHP, non-refundable)

Your registration will be confirmed with a unique number. Only the selected applicants will be announced on the Embassy website within 21 days after registration.

❗️ Just registering does not guarantee an appointment. And an appointment does not guarantee visa approval.

✍️ Why the work contract is important

We often hear from applicants who are unsure what documents they need. Here's the truth:

You must present a signed employment contract at the time of registration.
It doesn't have to be a printed original — a soft copy (scan) is enough.

Without this, your registration will not be accepted.
